Storm Ciarán

We are aware that some customers in the Christchurch and Bournemouth area may have noticed a slight temporary change in the colour of their tap water. This has been caused by the recent heavy rainfall which has resulted in increased colour in the river that supplies Knapp Mill Water Treatment Works. While our current treatment process can remove the majority of this, a small amount may remain. We appreciate that this is not pleasant, but would like to reassure customers that the water is fully treated and is fine to continue to use and drink as normal.
