Since 2016 Bournemouth Water has been part of the Pennon Group Plc and managed by South West Water who provide water and wastewater service provider for a population of c. 1.7 million in Cornwall, Devon, and parts of Somerset and Dorset.

Bournemouth Water supplies water to nearly half a million people in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.  We continue to be one of the best performers in the UK water sector and have a record of customer service excellence.  We own and manage several sites across Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire.

Holiday entitlement

The annual leave year begins as at 1 April each year.

Employees service is calculated from the next April after their start date and the entitlement is as follows;

Employees appointed during the leave year receive a proportionate entitlement of their full leave.  There are also 8 statutory bank holidays.  Part-time employees are entitled to pro rata calculation of annual leave and statutory Bank holidays.
