Learn more about your bills and what they cover

Why are bills going up?

From 1 April 2026, water bills will rise to support the latest stage of our major investment programme. We know this will be difficult for some customers, and the decision to raise prices was not taken lightly.

The extra money from customer bills will support an ambitious £180m investment programme in the years to 2030. We’re preparing the water network to face the challenges of the future, ensuring safe, reliable water supplies and resilience against climate change impacts.

Our spending plans will improve water services throughout the region. We’re upgrading water treatment works at Alderney, Knapp Mill and Woodgreen. This will make sure they’re efficient, reliable and can support future population growth, while treating water to the highest quality standards.
