Most people use more water in the bathroom than any other part of the home – it’s the perfect place to start water saving! Read on for our top tips…

Shower, don't soak!

You don’t have to give up baths entirely, but if you’re a regular bather you could see a big reduction in your bills if you cut down on soaking in the tub. Try a 4-minute shower instead – your water bills should tumble. You’ll also save on heating all that water!

Watch out for a leaky loo

Drips or trickles down the back of the toilet are common in modern dual flush systems, but they can be hard to spot. A leaky loo wastes up to 400 litres of water a day, adding £100s to your water bill.

Remember to use the little button if you have a dual flush!

Taps off when brushing teeth

It's a no-brainer for saving water, but you'd be surprised at how many people still leave the tap running while they brush their teeth. Kids are particularly bad for this, so make sure you keep reminding them.

Brush in – tap off!
