We’re proud to be supporting Julia’s House with The Great Tail Trail this Spring
A splash of support for a worthy cause
This year, a captivating community art trail event will transform Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole into a magical underwater world. The Great Tail Trail will run from April to June 2025, with over 40 giant mermaid tail sculptures that will grace the streets, raising funds for the incredible Julia’s House children’s hospice.
We’re proud to support this event and help raise funds for an important cause.

Why Julia’s House matters
Julia’s House provides vital support to families caring for children with life-limiting conditions. Their dedicated team offers essential care and compassion, helping families navigate the challenges of caring for a seriously ill child.
However, Julia’s House faces increasing challenges. The number of children needing their care has tripled in recent years, and many of these children have complex medical needs. Rising costs and uncertain funding make it difficult to provide the high-quality care these families deserve.
Julia's House: A plea for support
Julia's House is facing a critical funding shortfall. Despite providing essential care to these vulnerable children, the hospice receives only 8% of its funding from the government. This means a staggering 92% must be raised through public donations.
The rising cost of living has put further pressure on the situation, with the hospice facing a £1 million budget deficit in 2025. To ensure the continuity of their vital services, Julia's House are appealing to the public for their generous support.

A decade of dedication
For over a decade, we’ve supported Julia's House children's hospice. Staff members have done everything from bike rides to bake sales to raise money for this incredible charity. When we were asked if we would sponsor The Great tail Trail event we jumped at the chance.
