Each year, we dedicate £75,000 to support not-for-profit organisations and community groups working on initiatives that benefit local communities and promote water-saving practices. Whether your project is large or small, if it helps conserve water and enriches your community, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re on the lookout for innovative projects—big or small—that make a real difference in how we use and value water. Whether it’s installing rainwater systems to flush public toilets, creating drought-tolerant gardens, adding water butts to community allotments, setting up educational displays in schools, or using cutting-edge technology to inspire water-wise habits—we want to hear from you.
We’re passionate about protecting water supplies for both people and the environment—today and for generations to come. But we can’t do it alone. Everyone has a part to play in saving tap water and reducing waste. That’s why we’re always exploring new and innovative ways to get our customers and communities involved in water conservation.
To support this mission, we’ve launched the Water-Saving Community Fund—a dedicated initiative to empower local ideas that help protect this precious resource.
If you’ve reviewed the criteria above and believe your project qualifies, apply here.

Environmental Education & Community Engagement
An environmental charity dedicated to protecting chalk streams and rivers, working towards healthy waterways that support both wildlife and local communities.
This initiative delivers 10 engaging river education sessions to primary schools across the South West Water and Bournemouth Water supply areas.
