Direct Debit

Why pay by Direct Debit?

Direct Debit is safe, convenient and lets you spread the cost of your water bills. Set up a Direct Debit today, either online or by calling us on 01202 590059.  

You have a choice of payment days – the 1st, 8th, 15th or 22nd of the month. (The payment will be taken on the next working day if the payment date falls on a weekend or bank holiday).

There is no extra charge for paying by Direct Debit, but we will charge you if a payment cannot be deducted from your account.

Set up a Direct Debit

Please use one of these forms to set up your Direct Debit:

You will need to provide:

  • your account name
  • your bank or building society account number and branch sort code
  • your bank or building society address
  • the account number on the front of your Bournemouth Water bill

The first year: When you start a Direct Debit, we’ll spread the amount you need to pay over the rest of the financial year. Our financial year starts on 1st April.

Your payment choices

If you have a meter

You can choose to pay:

  • in 12 monthly instalments, or
  • after receiving your six-monthly bill

If you do not have a meter

You can choose:

  • 10 payments a year starting in April
  • 6 payments a year
  • 2 payments a year – April and October
  • 1 yearly payment in April
