Sembcorp Bournemouth Water engages new delivery partner

SEMBCORP Bournemouth Water (SBW) has engaged Kier, one of the leading water industry repair and maintenance contractors in the UK, as its new delivery partner. 

Following a competitive tender process, the company selected Kier for its experience and award-winning customer service, which complements SBW’s own focus on and achievements in this area. SBW has received the Customer Service Excellence award for the past 14 years.

The introduction of Kier will be seamless and customers will start seeing the new, jointly-branded livery on Kier's vehicles and employee uniforms on the streets across SBW’s area of supply in the coming weeks as Kier begins its work for the water company. The scope of Kier's work will include repair and maintenance, mains laying and meter installation. 

SBW supplies drinking water to nearly half a million people from Poole and Bournemouth in the west, along the coastal fringe to Beaulieu in the east, and north to parts of Salisbury.

Roger Harrington, SBW’s Managing Director, said that having a first-class delivery partner was essential to the company’s business and he was very pleased to introduce Kier to customers in this capacity.
